Have you ever seen an angel? Literally seen one in flesh and bones? Because…I have and I didn’t see him the way people do in dreams or in movies because when I first saw him- my angel, I wasn’t paying attention and he did not make a grand entrance- the sort of heaven opening wide with a blinding light entrance. I did not even notice him arriving because I was trapped inside the book I was reading. But I did hear him for my angel said “hi” and I thought when I looked up at him, a character from the book I was reading jumped out of it and came alive. Instinctively, I slammed shut the book and had to pause to process what I had just seen and then I heard him again because he cleared his throat and I knew…I knew then when I looked up at him again that angels were real. They come in the form of a young man with the most beautiful smile holding a backpack and clutching its straps by his chest so that both his elbows protruded sideways, with dark hair in perfect waves and lengths accentuating the perfectly imperfect angles of his jaws and cheeks. It hurt my eyes looking at his glorious figure so I did what I thought was the most logical thing at that moment- open the book again and find the page where I stopped and carefully slid my bookmark. I also took that time to gather the strength to stand up and talk to him. I learned that the angel’s name is Mark- a pretty ordinary name for a pretty amazing guy. I know it’s probably against the rules to fall in love with an angel, but I couldn’t help it.

Hi! I'm Aj from the Philippines. Obviously I love to read and write and from years of experience I have learned that when you love something so much, you would do it absolutely for free so here I am writing stuff for all people to see in the hopes that at least one or maybe two souls could benefit or get little inspiration from what they will read from this blog. Enjoy and spread the love! ;) View more posts
