It’s a cute romantic NA/YA story. Quite predictable but still likable and funny too. I liked the diversity and the strong comical tone throughout the story. I enjoyed the contrast between our hero, Rishi, obedient to his parents, so gentlemanly and hopelessly romantic as opposed to Dimple, a cynic, overly determined and completely anti-marriage. The writing is fluid, smart and witty while the plot is very well paced. It just thought it kind of lacked a certain spark or maybe charm. I would have read it in one sitting if it did but as it is, it’s a generally interesting and light read.
Hmm…. I still haven’t read this but heard so much hype about it when it was published a year ago.. I love your mini review, short but straight to the point! 🙂
I guess because both characters’ families roots are in India so it makes them instantly interesting. Thank you so much for taking time going through my reviews, ate. ❤
