Book Hauls (First Quarter of 2018)

28832599_10156378891677122_676036954_nI know I’ve been quiet for the past couple of months of this year on my book hauls but only because I’ve been piling them up so I could post them all together because ain’t that a pretty sight?

Most of these books I got from a non-profit online bookstore. I say non-profit because half their sales, they put in really noble causes like giving food to the homeless and donating to charities. Their books are secondhand but still in great condition and although they sell a bit pricier than other secondhand online stores, buying from them makes me feel like I’m doing something good by contributing to their cause.

The other books are from Book Outlet, a few were bought brand new from our local bookstore, National Bookstore, some from the recent National Bookstore Book Binge Bazaar through one of my friends’ generosity because he bought some for me while the others are from local secondhand bookstores around my city.

I’ve actually read a few of them like Saints and Misfits, Words on Bathroom Walls Underwater, Graffiti Moon, Things We Know by Heart and Cruel Heart Broken all of which I really liked except for the first. I’m so looking forward to reading the rest in the pile and of course, I’ll share my thoughts on them whether people read them or not. Lol!

So what titles have you hauled so far for the first quarter of the year? I would love to see them too. 🙂

  1. Wow! Boo! Greta Haul!!!! I loved that online book store with a cause! What a fantastic idea! ❤
I actually haven't read any of those titles…!!!
I'm obviously lagging behind and can't seem to get out of a book slump after reading the Matteo Alacran series. 😦
    Enjoy readinggggg!!!!

    • Haha, thanks so much boo! Yes, it’s become my favorite online bookstore since I discovered them. Also, I’ve managed to haul seven more books last week from NBS Warehouse Sale at Quezon Ave. We were fortunate because it was our wedding anniversary and spent it in Batangas and decided to spend our last day with my older brother in Quezon City. Hope you get out of your slump soon. Let me know if you have books to swap in case you want more books to read without spending except for the shipping cost. hehe. Have a great day, boo! ❤
