I think it’s cute. Kind of like a Generation Z You’ve Got Mail . I liked the main characters and their personalities both online and offline. I was also fond of Bailey’s honesty and I’m glad because the story is told in her narrative. I’m kind of impressed that even when she details something intimate, it doesn’t seem gross. Lol.
Both male and female characters have serious issues in their past but that didn’t have to overwhelm the plot. In fact it’s a very fun and light read and although the identity of Alex is very predictable that any praticed reader could easily detect, it’s alright because the author isn’t going for being mysterious and all. It’s really about the comparison about their online and offline relationships.
Overall, it was a fun and romantic read with likable, none too cheesy characters with an equally enjoyable plot including settings and minor characters.
