I still could definitely count on Ms. Kasie West for an easy read because her writing has this natural fluff to it that anything she writes seems comforting.
Also, the story ends very happily so I guess it’s still her standard romantic-comedy. At the same time, she tried to tackle a more serious issue in the story by bringing in anxiety in the plot and I thought she managed to write that well too even though she presented it in a much lighter manner.
What’s different this time is how the romance isn’t very predictable. It was quite a whirlwind too but one that is definitely believable and natural. The main characters are also quite unique and I’m definitely swooning over the guy character that not even once turned me off.
Plus, the characters get stuck several days at the library! I was automatically into it. Lol.
