My Christina Lauren experience is getting better and better. Actually it started out awful with Beautiful Bastard then it got really good with Hating You/Dating You and now it even got better with Unhoneymooners and I hope the trend continues. I do notice a pattern in the three books I read. There is always that hate/love relationship which I guess can always be counted on for an interesting romantic story.
Here though it’s really hilarious because Olive and Ethan who hate each other’s guts so much had to pretend to be newlyweds on a honeymoon at Maui in place of their respective siblings who really were the ones who got married and ended up both food poisoned at their wedding reception.
The entire story is hilarious and the writing is addictive. The smut is kept to a minimum/tolerable level so it’s definitely a recommended rom-com, one you can enjoy during summer or a lazy rainy day.
